A while back I posted a blog suggesting I sell everything and hit the road – meeting new people, listening to their stories, getting a feel for the many cultures and sub-cultures right here in the US.
Still working on my sweetie on this one.
As I glanced down your cities list, you have been to many of my favorite places. I currently live in Sandpoint, ID (one word by the way). Tim, my sweetie has been going for years to Buffalo, WY to fly fish with a buddy from Des Moines.
I am encouraged by your leap of faith and your understanding that heck, if you don’t like it, do something else.
I think we so often get paralyzed when we say we’re going to do something. We feel like we made a forever choice. Wouldn’t changing my mind mean I’m a loser? No Way! Better to change course midstream than crash and burn.
There was a tangent…
Glad you made the journey. I am sure you have met fascinating people and have seen incredible things.
Good luck in the Gov race.
